We realize that some families may need additional financial assistance. Retrofit Baltimore, a program of the non-profit Civic Works, has received a limited-time grant to provide free home energy upgrade services for low- and moderate-income households. These improvements will dramatically lower your energy bills, while making your home healthier, safer and more comfortable.
An energy retrofit is a series of custom, energy-saving home improvements, usually involving sealing air leaks and installing insulation. All of the work is performed by vetted contractors that have also committed to creating family-sustaining careers for underserved communities.
The money available for this program is limited, and homeowners can apply on a first-come first-served basis. You could qualify if your household income falls under the levels listed below.
Household Size | Maximum Annual Income |
1 resident | $51,600 |
2 residents | $59,000 |
3 residents | $66,400 |
4 residents | $73,700 |
5 residents | $79,650 |
6 residents | $85,500 |
